Where your answers go.

Short version: the profile lives in your browser. Three things leave it, each only when you ask, and none of them is sold or used for ads.

What stays on your device

Everything you type — name, what you do, tone, colour — plus the copy that gets written, your uploaded photo or logo, generated marks and the checklist ticks. It is stored in your browser (localStorage and IndexedDB), not on our servers. Start over deletes it. Clearing your browser data deletes it too, so export the ZIP if you want a copy.

What leaves your device, and when

  1. 1The handle you check. Our server asks each platform's public page whether that name exists. Only the handle is sent; the platforms see our server, not you.
  2. 2Your answers, when you write copy or use chat. They are sent to Anthropic's Claude API through our server to write bios and descriptions. Anthropic's API terms do not use this data to train models. Our server keeps no copy.
  3. 3Your logo description, when you generate marks. The brand name, what you do and the description go to OpenAI's image API. Our server keeps no copy.
  4. 4The contact form. Your email and message go to Netlify Forms so we can reply. Nothing else on the site asks for your email.

The optional cloud save (when enabled) signs you in anonymously with Firebase and stores the text profile — never images — under a random ID, so it can be restored on the same browser. There is no account, password or email involved.

What we don't do

Our host, Netlify, keeps standard server logs that include IP addresses. We count requests per IP in memory for ten minutes to prevent abuse; that count is not written anywhere.
