Set it up
- 1Go to linkedin.com/company/setup/new
- 2Enter the company name and choose the public URL
- 3Upload the logo and paste the 120-character tagline
- 4Add the description, industry, size and location
- 5Upload the 1584 × 396 banner
- 6Add specialties — they feed LinkedIn search
Where it usually goes wrong
- Detail in the bottom-left of the banner, behind the logo
- A tagline that's a slogan rather than a description — it's what shows in search
- Skipping the specialties field; it feeds LinkedIn's own search
Skip the guesswork
SetMySocial writes your LinkedIn bio to exactly 220 characters, checks whether the username is free, and exports the picture and cover at the right size.
Build my LinkedIn profileLinkedIn changes these limits without announcing it. If a number here is wrong, the checked date tells you how old it is.
